Statistics Consultation

On this page you will find some information about some of the services I offer regarding statistical and methodology consultation. If you would like to have a discussion about potential statistics and methodology consultation, please feel free to contact me here.

Inferential Statistics

I have had the opportunity to teach statistics and research methodologies for a range of institutions, including The University of Queensland, Duchesne College, and through Private Consultation. During my role as a statistics and methodology consultant, I have assisted clients with a range of inferential statistics including: analysis of variance (ANOVA) specifically within participant, between participant, and mixed model designs; t-tests (paired samples, independent samples); and regression (logistic regression, standard multiple regression, hierarchical regression, moderated multiple regression, and mediation methods). I also have some experience with more advanced techniques of analysis including structural equation modelling and multi-level modelling.

Non-Inferential Statistics

In addition to inferential statistics, I have experience with large data sets that require thorough descriptions of the data but not necessarily causal inferences. I am well accustomed to working with descriptive analyses, correlation, chi-square, and non-parametric equivalents of other inferential statistics.

Neuroimaging Analysis

Along with a strong understanding of behavioural and applied statistics, I have experience with neurophysiological techniques associated with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and functional MRI (fMRI), and more recently electroencephalography (EEG). Specifically, I am competent in conducting functional MRI analyses, region of interest analyses (ROIs), psychophysiological index (PPI) analysis, voxel-based morphometry (VBM) analysis, and event related potential (ERP) time-frequency analyses.
